About US

We’re Katie & Alannah, two English Interior Designers and Stylists, serving the Mid-Atlantic region of the US.

Katie began her career 10 years ago in Cost & Project Management, accredited by the RICS. She worked on luxury residential projects across Mayfair & Kensington, including for The Duke of Westminster. She has worked closely with notable designers such as Nina Campbell OBE, Rita Konig and Diana Yakeley OBE. She began using the knowledge gathered from these collaborations to design and manage her own projects, transforming numerous homes and honing in on her own approach to interiors.

Alannah's background is in interior textile procurement. While in this role she developed an advanced working knowledge of fabric and wall coverings and formed close connections with high-end British and European fabric houses such as Fermoie, Lewis & Wood and Loro Piana. Alannah's expertise lies in schematic design, ensuring your project has sophisticated layers and textures, and a balanced final result. 

What we can do for you

Our interiors work focuses on blending modern comfort and functionality with classic European design principles, ensuring every project feels both curated and deeply personal. We love working with older properties to navigate their distinct challenges; breathing in new life whilst celebrating original character.

We provide a range of design services to suit your project, from individual rooms to whole house remodel or new build. Our preferred approach is to be involved from the outset, collaborating with the client and project team from concept design onwards. We realize the shared vision through designing bespoke cabinetry and millwork, complemented by carefully selected finishes, fixtures, furnishings, and textiles.

We also offer styling for professional photoshoots and publications, or to provide the finishing touches to interior projects and have a range of props available for shoots and create custom floral arrangements.

The process

We offer a free initial consultation to understand the services you require and your aesthetic vision. We follow up with a detailed fee proposal, to ensure transparency and provide projected time scales.

Upon signing of the agreement, we will begin with initial mood boards and layout sketches, followed by CAD plans and then internal elevations. We assemble sample boards of all finishes and fabrics for Client approval, and will provide the contractor with the agreed material schedules for purchase.

We can assist with the purchase of soft furnishings and furniture, including sourcing antique pieces and artwork. During the build, we regularly visit site to check progress, address issues, and ensure that the finished space reflects your vision and complete a final style to give it that finishing touch.
