Clara Rose Interior Design was launched in 2025 by English design duo Katie Clara Williams and Alannah Rose O’Donnell. Located in the heart of Annapolis, they also serve the wider Washington DC region.
Their work is guided by European design principals; honoring the building’s architecture and setting, whilst reflecting those who live there.
By prioritizing lasting character over fleeting trends, Katie and Alannah help clients make confident, informed decisions and achieve sophisticated yet entirely personal homes that stand the test of time.

Katie Clara Williams
Founding Partner, Principal Designer
Katie grew up across England, California and New York. This upbringing provided her with a unique perspective, allowing her to bring together English heritage and American living to create homes that feel rich and storied, yet practical for modern life.
After a decade in historic restoration and luxury development in London, she relocated to Annapolis. Opening the studio felt like a natural progression. Her practical, detail focused management marries with her discerning eye to ensure the build process is (almost) as enjoyable as your finished home.
Alannah Rose O’Donnell

Alannah’s exceptional style has shone since her childhood spent in the English countryside, where she was naturally drawn to the world of fabrics and fashion.
After relocating to Washington DC, she moved from fashion to interior textiles, where her eye for color and pattern truly shone. Her close connections with high-end British and European fabric houses enables Clara Rose to bring unique, authentic fabrics and wallpapers into every scheme.
Alannah's expertise lies in schematic design, ensuring your project has sophisticated layers and textures, and a balanced final result.
